Aiden McMahan selected as Prospect League all-star

<p class="p1">Aiden McMahan was named to the 2015 Prospect League All-Star Game.</p><p class="p1">McMahan is a graduate of Shawnee High School at Wolf Lake. He is now attending Rend Lake College at Ina, where he is playing baseball. He is the son of Angie and David McMahan of Wolf Lake.</p><p class="p1">The Prospect League is a summer collegiate baseball league.</p><p class="p1">The league has 12 teams which are located in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, New York and West Virginia.</p><p class="p1">McMahan is the catcher for the league’s Richmond RiverRats squad in Richmond, Indiana.</p><p class="p1">He was one of four Richmond players selected to play in the league’s all-star game.</p><p class="p1">All-star game festivities were planned Tuesday and Wednesday, July 7-8, at Don McBride Stadium in Richmond.</p><p class="p1">The all-star game was set for Wednesday night. A home run derby was scheduled Tuesday night.</p><p class="p1">McMahan is one of the top hitters in the Prospect League. </p><p class="p1">Heading into the all-star game, McMahan was hitting .419 and had slugged three home runs.</p>
