Absentee voting begins Sept. 27

Union County Clerk Bobby Toler Jr. says that Sept. 27 is the first day to make applications to vote absentee in the November general election.

The election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Voters also can start to cast absentee ballots on Sept. 27.

Applications to vote absentee can be made at the county clerk's office. Absentee voting also can be done at the county clerk's office.

The clerk's office is located on the first floor of the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro.
