Schaefer fans 16 in Shawnee win over Herrin

Ryan Schaefer tossed a one-hitter to lead host Shawnee to a 7-2 win over Agape of Herrin in high school baseball Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Schaefer recorded 16 strikeouts and didn’t allow a walk.
Caleb Nicholson was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs to lead Shawnee in hitting.
Schaefer was 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs. Kaden Baltzell was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Kolby McLane and Braeden Freeman were each 1-for-3.
