Pitts resigns as Shawnee baseball coach

Shawnee High School baseball coach Chad Pitts resigned from his baseball coaching duties recently, according to Shawnee athletics director Mindy Livesay.

Following his resignation, former Shawnee Junior High baseball coach T.C. Schaefer was hired to replace him for the upcoming season. No assistants have been hired yet.

Pitts is a teacher with the school district. He will continue his teaching duties as well as coaching high school girls’ basketball.
