A-J wrestling team posts win

The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School wrestling team defeated Carterville and host Benton on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
The Wildcats defeated Carterville 51-27, while forfeiting three weight classes, and defeated Benton 48-33, while forfeiting two weight classes.
A-J’s Nate Kisat, 145 pounds, a Class 1A state ranked honorable mention wrestler, defeated Illinois High School Association 1A state ranked Kaleb Ward of Carterville 14-4.
A-J competes Saturday at the Clarksville, Tenn., Slamfest Tournament.
