A-J to host Class 2A sub-regional

Anna-Jonesboro Community High School is scheduled to host an Illinois High School Association Class 2A boys’ basketball sub-regional Feb. 18-22.
Chester is scheduled to host the other Class 2A sub-regional.
Pinckneyville is seeded No. 1 at A-J. The top seed is followed by Chester, West Frankfort, Du Quoin, A-J, Sparta, Vienna, Johnston City, Trico and Red Bud.
The schedule for the A-J sub-regional follows:
Monday, Feb. 18, 7 p.m., Vienna vs. Johnston City.
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 7 p.m., Pinckneyville plays the winner of Monday night’s game.
Wednesday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m., A-J vs. Du Quoin.
Friday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m., championship.
