Golf scramble termed success

The Olmsted Dam charity committee reports that its recent 2016 charity golf scramble was a success.

The event raised more than $20,000 for Courage Beyond. Courage Beyond is a nonprofit organization which provides services to veterans and their families who are dealing with posttraumatic stress disorder.

The committee voiced appreciation to all of those who were part of the golf scramble, including corporate sponsors, golf teams and volunteers.

The committee reported that the scramble was its biggest fundraiser to date.
