Football practice to begin

The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School football team begins preparation for the 2016 season next week.
The Wildcats are slated to open football practice on Monday, Aug. 8.
For the first five days, three-hour practice sessions are scheduled beginning at 5 p.m.
Prospective players should have medical physicals, proof of insurance on file at the school and concussion information signed by their parents before participating.
A-J’s first football game is scheduled to be played at home against West Frankfort on Aug. 26.
