Shawnee junior high boys improve to 10-1
The Shawnee Junior High School boys’ basketball team has built a 10-1 record this season.
Shawnee 46, Century 26: Dylan Boston scored 13 points to lead visiting Shawnee in the win Nov. 29.
Hunter Levan added 10 points, Lucas Matlock, Nick Crane and Daniel Parris 7 each and Eli Baltzell and Hunter Smithey 1 each.
Shawnee 62, Cobden 15: Boston scored 20 points to lead host Shawnee Nov. 22.
T.J. Foeste added 11 points, Parris 10, Smithey 7, Matlock 6 and Levan and Crane 4 each.
Shawnee 60, Egyptian 22: Parris led the way with 23 points for visiting Shawnee Nov. 18.
Boston added 14 points, Matlock 9, Foeste 7, Levan 4 and Smithey 3.
Shawnee 45, Cypress 38: Parris led the way with 16 points for host Shawnee Nov. 16.
Boston and Foeste added 8 points each, Levan 6, Crane 3 and Matlock and Baltzell 2 each.
Shawnee 41, Meridian 29: Parris scored 18 for visiting Shawnee Nov. 15.
Levan added 7 points, Matlock 6, Crane 4 and Boston, Foeste and Smithey 2 each.
Shawnee 45, Anna 43 OT: Matlock led the way with 16 points in a overtime win for host Shawnee Nov. 8.
Parris added 10 points, Brady Reynolds 6, Boston 5, Crane 4, Levan 3 and Baltzell 1.
Shawnee 42, Jonesboro 10: Parris led the way with 12 points for visiting Shawnee Nov. 7.
Matlock added 8 points, Boston 5, Baltzell and Reynolds 4 each, Crane 3 and Foeste 2.
Goreville 46, Shawnee 40: Parris led the way in the loss with 11 points. Reynolds added 10, Matlock 9, Boston 7 and Crane 3.
Shawnee began the season by going 3-0 and winning the Early Bird Tournament at Egyptian School at Tamms.
Shawnee 39, Vienna 34: Reynolds led the way with 10 points. Matlock added 9 points, Parris and Crane 7 each and Levan and Boston 2 each.
Shawnee 41, Meridian 35: Parris led the way with 20 points for visiting Shawnee.
Reynolds added 7 points, Boston 6, Matlock 4, Levan 3 and Crane 1.
Shawnee 50, Goreville 31: Parris scored 16 points for Shawnee. Boston added 8 points, Matlock and Crane 7 each and Levan and Reynolds 6 each.
