Shawnee girls 7-0 after win

Taylor Ellis scored 18 points to boost Shawnee to a 46-29 win over host Egyptian in South Egyptian Conference high school girls’ basketball Thursday, Dec. 1.
Jordan Johnson added 17 points for the Lady Reds. Reagan Brown scored 7 points, Gwen Kuehne 3 and Taylor Loveless 1.
The Lady Pharaohs led 11-9 after one quarter. The Lady Reds held Egyptian scoreless in the second quarter which allowed them to pull ahead 14-11 at halftime. Shawnee led 34-16 after three periods.
Shawnee improved to 7-0.
