Ruth Anne Keistler, 92, of Anna, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 in the Hillview Healthcare Center in Vienna. She was born Nov. 27, 1922 in Anna, the daughter of Glenn C. and Pearl Craiglow Eddleman. She married Frank Keistler on Feb. 7, 1941 in Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 2007 after 66 years of marriage.

She is survived by her three children, Carole Anne Baker of Anna, Barbara and husband Chuck Grace of Upland, California, Jim and wife Paula Keistler of Anna; three grandchildren, Michael and wife Lisa Baker of Jonesboro, Aaren Keistler of St. Louis, Missouri, Rachel Keistler of Peoria; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Baker, Cody and Lindsey Campbell and Brandon Howell; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Keistler; one brother, Bill Eddleman; two grandchildren, Jenny Baker and David Baker; and one son in law, CSM (Ret) Larry J. Baker.

Seventy eight years ago Ruth Anne accepted Christ as her Savior at the First Baptist Church of Anna. She continued her service for the Lord until the time of her death. She was very active in her Golden Rule Sunday School class. She was passionate about her mission work with Everlee Hayes Mission Circle and was a Delta Theta Tau Alumni.

Ruth Anne and her husband, Frank owned and operated the Whitehouse Coffee Shop in Anna for 20 years. The last 15 years prior to her retirement she worked for the Department of Tourism.

She loyally supported her husband, Frank while he was Union County Chairman of the Republican Party for 50 years. She was also active in the Republican Women's Auxiliary.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Les Sinks officiating. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmi Baptist Children's Home or Hillview Healthcare Center in Vienna. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
