Parade, wreath-laying ceremony, program at Anna school among local events held to honor those who have served.
A parade was held in Anna on Friday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day. Many floats carried or memorialized men and women who have served the U.S. in times of war and peace.
Special events are planned in the area in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. Veterans Day is Friday, Nov. 11.

The fourth annual Pulaski Pecan Bonanza is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Pulaski County Fairgrounds in Pulaski.
Organizers said that the day will be “All About Pecans.”
The day will be full of everything pecan: games, contests, bingo, food, cookbooks and more.
