Please read this...

Well, I suppose that we've been doing this long enough that what you are seeing could be considered a tradition. 

December has arrived, which means that yet another year is rapidly coming to an end. With that mind, I hope you folks will humor me, again.

This week, I'm going to share some of my favorite critter pictures from 2017. The pictures were taken here...and there...and all in Union County. 

This week, various two-legged, four-legged and six-legged creatures which call our little corner of Southern Illinois home are featured. Next week, if all goes as planned, squirrels will take center stage.

Then, during the final two weeks of December, if, again, all goes as planned, there's a bit of a "treat" in store. Stay tuned...
