Critters, Christmas...

Please read this...

Can you believe it? When it comes to the year 2020, we’re down to this week...and next week. I’m guessing that it’s pretty safe to say that not many people will be disappointed to say farewell to this year...

In keeping with a tradition which began several years ago, this week we’re sharing some of the photographer’s favorite critter pictures from 2020.

I am so grateful to have been able to get “out and about” this year. It’s truly been a blessing to be able to enjoy the world around us...and the critters which are our companions on the Journey Through Life.

It may sound a little strange, but I often share a spoken “thank you” with the critters...a word of gratitude that they were willing to hang around long enough for a photograph. I was especially thankful to be able to spend some time with some red foxes last spring.

Hope you enjoy the photographs. Next week, again in keeping with tradition, I’ll share my favorite squirrel photographs from 2020...

A follow up to last week...the yellow kitty I mentioned that paid a visit while yours truly was creating his first column out on our front stoop found his way to a forever home...a home, which it turned out...he already had. Seems that he went on a rather extended kitty walkabout. We’re glad he’s warm and safe again. Not a bad Christmas gift for the kitty...and for us...

We’ll close this week with words from a song written by some folks named John and Yoko. Maybe you’ve heard of them...

“...A very merry Christmas...And a happy New Year...Let’s hope it’s a good one...Without any fears...”

Merry Christmas everyone...
