Trudi Hunter

Trudi Hunter, 63, of Anna, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin. 

She was born on Aug. 28, 1956, in Elgin, the daughter of William “Bill” C. and Eleanora Taormina Stubbs.

She enjoyed reading, painting and anything to do with art. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son, Vernon Hunter of Anna, a daughter, Emily Hunter of Anna; grandchildren Milla Hunter and Lela Messamore; siblings Becky (Donnie) Winn of Fresco, Texas, William “Bill” (Tammy) Stubbs of Jasper, Ind., and Janet Clayton of Nashville, Tenn.; many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother, Thomas Stubbs.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro.  

Memorials can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
