Tommy R. (Tom) Kissner

Tommy R. (Tom) Kissner, 75, of Grand Chain, died at 4:24 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Kissner was born on Aug. 8, 1946, in Bluford. 

Mr. Kissner was self-employed.  

He and Judy McCormick Kissner were united in marriage on April 18, 1964. 

His passions were gardening and fishing. 

He is survived by two sons, Tommy R. Kissner II and Robert (Rob) Kissner, both of Grand Chain; his stepmother, Joan Kissner of Wayne City; grandchildren Alexis, Landon and Dayton Kissner of Grand Chain; a sister, Linda (Jim) Buchanan of Bluford; and two brothers, Bill (Jeanne) Kissner and Bob (Sandra) Kissner of Wayne City.

Mr. Kissner was preceded in death by his parents, G.E. and Cecil Haynes Kissner; and by a brother, Jerry Kissner.

Private family viewing was at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Per the family’s request, cremation followed.
