Sue Ann Rushing Morton
Sue Ann Rushing Morton, who loved to be called Susie by her devoted husband (deceased), sisters, brothers and called “mom” by her four sons, departed on Nov. 10, 2023.
Sue Ann was born in Anna on Jan. 4, 1938, the daughter Ray Rushing and Bonnie Rendleman.
She attended Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, graduating with the class of 1956.
Sue Ann was the mother of David Lee Morton, Randall Scott Morton, Christopher Ray Morton and Timothy Jacob Morton. She raised her children with looks of determination in the city of Orlando, Fla., and surrounding areas.
As a flooring rep and later in life a horse farm manager, she found working with horses and people her passion in life. Her hobby was her work on the farm.

She is survived by four children, five grandchildren and great-grandchildren and three sisters and two brothers.
A celebration of life gathering will be held in the spring of 2024.
