Stevan H. Knavel, 62, of Anna, died at 11:55 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at Union County Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1954, in Denver, Colo., the son of Leroy and Ruth French Knavel.
He is survived by one brother, Christopher Knavel; one sister, Lisa Jo Briggs; and his family and friends at Choate Mental Health and Development Center in Anna.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at the Choate chapel, with Dee Armes officiating. Interment was in the Choate cemetery.
