Shirley Ann Logan
Shirley Ann Logan, 90, of Villa Ridge, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on April 26, 1930, in St. Louis, the daughter of William Joseph and Loretta Catherine Killehaus Kelleher.
She was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of the Olmsted United Methodist Church. She had worked at Snower’s in Cairo and as a CNA in Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charley Logan, on Nov. 23, 2006; her son, Richard Julius Logan, on Jan. 16, 2021; her brother, Bill Kelleher; and two sisters, Barbara and Mary Catherine.
Survivors include her children, Danny Charles (Sherry) Logan of Tamms, Olene David (Sheila) Logan of Villa Ridge, Shirley May (Lee) Price of Austin, Texas, and Geraldine Faye “Gerry” Logan of Villa Ridge; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at noon Saturday, March 27, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, with Pastor David Estep officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 29, at the Mound City National Cemetery. Interment will follow.
A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.
