Phyllis Ann Goins

Phyllis Ann Goins, 81, of Anna, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at her home. 

She was born on Dec. 27, 1938, the daughter of James “Boss” Ervin and Iva Edmonds Sadler. She married Phillip Goins.

Mrs. Goins is survived by her husband, Phillip Goins of Anna; children Pam (Eddie) Peterman, Leona (Tim) Bone, Jim (Lisa) Stone, Sue Stone, Billy (Sheri) Stone and Jennifer Stone; stepchildren Tim and Debbie Goins and family, and Phillip Raymond and Leslie Goins and family; grandchildren Jamie (Darla) Peterman, Chris (Dorothy) Peterman, Rick (Angie) Johnson, Wendy Short, Chris (Denise) Johnson, Cody (Dakota) Johnson, David Short, Ivy (Mike) Yana, Justin (Sonnia) Stone, Derick (Pam) Beasley, Jimmy (Alaina) Stone, Molly Stone, Tara Stone, Kristen (Josh) Tite, Crystal (Bumper) Gurley, Michel (Shelly) Wright, Amy Rae Pender and Mary Ann Pender; great-grandchildren Alexis Peterman, Makynzie Peterman, Skyler Peterman, Cray Peterman, Stevie Peterman, Sarah Peterman, James, John and Jacob Peterman, Madison Lingle, Lexie Lingle, Liam Johnson, Halle Short, Dawson Short, Lydia Johnson, Lorenzo Johnson, Elana Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Cheyenne Roach, Drake Roach, Lily Yana, Holly Yana, Allie Yana, Naomi Stone, Valon Beasley, Eliza Reese Stone, Addy Coulter, Mikey Rossi, Gage Tite, Jaelyn Tite, Drew Gurley, JR Wright and RJ Wright; a sister, Judy Fowler; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters Missy Stone and Amy Goins; grandsons Kojak Johnson and Stevie Goins; brothers Earl Sadler, Kenneth Sadler, Ervin Sadler, Don Randal Sadler, William Sadler, Leon Sadler and Sammy Sadler; sisters Juanita Miller, June Sadler and Pansy Sadler; and her first husband, Robert “Jumbo” Stone. 

She was a member of the Busy Hands Quilting Club.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Carl Dillow officiating. 

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Kidney Fund.
