Patsy ‘Pat’ Lingle

Patsy “Pat” Lingle, 75, of Alto Pass, died at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. 

She was born on June 6, 1945, in Marion, the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy Stone Eldridge. 

She married Earl F. Lingle on May 26, 1964.         

Mrs. Lingle is survived by four children, Dave (Joanie) Lingle of Alto Pass, Tina (Mike) Housewirth of Chatham, Becky (Rob) Bartelsmeyer of Lebanon, Mo., and Phil (Susan) Lingle of Nashville; seven grandchildren, Katie, Ryan, Gage, Sophie, Peyton, Baylie and Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Abi; her sister,  Shirley Eldridge-Darby and husband Randy Darby of Marion; a sister-in-law, Cheri Clark-Eldridge of Whittier, Calif.; brothers-in-law Jeff (Pat) Lingle of Cobden, John (Carolyn) Lingle of Bradenton and Rick (Ruby) Lingle of Cobden; a sister-in-law,  Sarah (Bill) Barnhart of Marshall; other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Lingle; her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Melvin (Hazel) Lingle; a sister, Jackie Eldridge; and a brother, Fred Eldridge. 

She loved a good book, going for drives and anything by Thomas Kinkade but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.           

Funeral services for Patsy “Pat” Lingle were Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass, with the Rev. Davy Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
