Norma Jean McCann Fuller

Norma Jean McCann Fuller, 86, of Anna, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1932, in Anna, the daughter of Andrew “Shorty” and Carrie George Adams. 

She married Donald McCann. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert “Bob” Franklin Fuller in 1999. He preceded her in death in 2009. 

She is survived by her children, Heidi (David) Basler of Cobden, Paula (Fred) Stearns of Anna and Mark (Carol Simpson) McCann of Fruitland, Mo.; grandchildren Stacey Tiffin, Nathan Stearns, Aaron Basler, Alex Basler and Andrew Basler; great-grandchildren Adrian Tiffin, Nicole Basler, Garrett Basler and Lucas Aguirre; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald McCann and Robert “Bob” Franklin Fuller; her parents; a great-granddaughter, Cassandra Tiffin; and a sister, Betty (Rex) English.  

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cobden, where she was a member of the Peacemaker Quilting group. She enjoyed her church family.  

She retired from Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna after working 32 years, first as an aide and then as an activity therapist. 

She liked being outdoors working in the lawn and doing housework. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the First Baptist Church in Cobden with Ed Falgout officiating. Interment was in the Cobden Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cobden.
