Nellie L. Boyd

Nellie L. Boyd, 77, of Villa Ridge, died at 11:42 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1941, in Anna, the daughter of Shelby and Mary Lucille Wright Norman. 

She was a housewife and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James “Jim” Virgil Livesay, in April 1998; and her second husband, William Herbert Boyd Jr., on Nov. 5, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Randy Livesay of Villa Ridge and Nickey (Teresa) Livesay of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends can call between 10 a.m. and noon Thursday, today, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, where funeral services will follow at noon, with Pastor Mike Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City.
