Nancy Diana Oakes

Nancy Diana Oakes, 57, of Paducah, and formerly of Cairo, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born on May 8, 1964, in Granite City, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Linder Butts.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Butts; two sisters, Audrey Butts and Andrea Johann; two aunts, JoAnn Delaney and Diana Meyers; two uncles, Bryan Davis and Ralph Clutts; a cousin, Michael Clay; several other cousins, relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, with the Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. 

Crain Funeral Home in Cairo was in charge of arrangements.
