Nadine Sue Jordan

Nadine Sue Jordan, 82, of Anna, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 3, 1934, in Mill Creek, the daughter of Carl and Susie Poole Hileman.

She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Jordan and Kevin (Carole) Jordan, all of Anna; a daughter, Cathy (Rick) Kirt of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Alex (Andrea) Kirt of Maryville, Mo., Nathan (Katie) Kirt of St. Peters, Mo., Jamie Jordan and John Christopher Jordan, both of Anna; four great-grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Kirt of St. Peters, Mo., and Levi and Zola Kirt of Maryville, Mo.; brothers and sisters Carl Hileman of Tamms, Charlie (Barb) Hileman of Evansville, Ind., Ron Hileman of Anna, Joe (Dottie) Hileman of Bloomington, Joyce Mowery of Dongola, Jessie Hileman of Tunnel Hill, Terry (Carol) Hileman of Anna, Sharon (Terry) Osman of Anna and Phil Hileman of Jonesboro; numerous nieces and nephews; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elaine Hunter; brothers-in-law Karol Lee Hunter and Carroll Mowery; and sisters-in-law Elaine Hileman and Margaret Ann Hileman.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro. She retired from Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna after working many years in housekeeping and later worked for the Fellowship House in Anna.

She was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and spending time with all her family.

Funeral services for Nadine Sue Jordan were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Pastor Tim Heinecke officiating. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola.
