Myrtle Scivally

Myrtle Scivally, 95, of Cobden, died at 4:50 a.m. on March 21, 2018, at the Metropolis Rehab and Helathcare Center.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1922, in Union County, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Effie Little McCulley.

She married William E. Scivally on Dec. 12, 1966. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1983.

She was a member of the VFW Post No. 3455 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Pat Dorsey of Metropolis and Donna Sue Moreno of Dripping Springs, Texas; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment was in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
