Michael Leon Hight

Michael Leon Hight, 64, of Anna, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born on March 17, 1955, in Anna, the son of Carroll Leon and Mary Jo Christian Hight. 

Mr. Hight is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary Jo and Wayne Butler of Dongola; one sister, Regina (Daniel) Osman of Anna; one stepsister, Glenna Miller of Dongola; maternal aunt Ruby Mish of DeKalb; his nephew, Josh Osman and family of Fort Mill, S.C.; a niece, Liza Osman of Anna; many great-nieces and nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father. 

When younger and still blessed with his vision and hearing, he loved to fish, drive his truck and spend time with his family. He enjoyed going to church, gospel music and was loved by all who knew him. 

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Pastor Pete Vinson officiating. Interment was in the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola.
