Mary Ruth Morgan

Mary Ruth Morgan, 93, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at the Jonesboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. 

She was born on April 2, 1927, in Anna, the daughter of Glee and Ollie Ann Girtman Lewis. 

She married Freddie Walker on Oct. 9, 1944, in Anna. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1994. She later married Hubert Morgan.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Dunn of Ware and Tammy (Rod) Sadler of Kirksville, Mo.; grandchildren Ron Fox, Donnie (Paula) Dunn and Rodney II (Kelly) Sadler; great-grandchildren Jessica Fox, Matthew Fox, Tyler Fox, Rachel Fox, Anna  and Alice Sadler; sisters Hazel Jefferson of Talulah and Peggy Sinclair of Petersburg; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one brother; six sisters; and a granddaughter, Rhonda Lambert.

Graveside services will be held privately for the family at the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Refuge Worship Center in Jonesboro.
