Marvin Lee Harris

Marvin Lee Harris, 76, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at his home. 

He was born on June 27, 1946, in Chester, the son of Ralph Lee and Francis Louise Weherhime Harris. 

Mr. Harris is survived by his sons, Brian and Bill Harris; siblings Nancy Williams of Jonesboro, Phillip Harris of Du Quoin, Ralph Harris, Leo Harris and Anita Harbor, all of Clinton, Ky., Roger Harris of Wolf Lake, Paul Parker and Steven Parker; a niece, Tammy Williams-McKee of Ripley, Tenn.; a nephew, Joe Williams of Jonesboro; many other nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one sister, Mary Keefer; and two brothers, Daniel and Ernie Harris. 

Mr. Harris was an over the road truck driver until his retirement. Anytime Marvin was not out driving the truck, you could find him in his vegetable garden or fishing.
