Martin Hall

Martin Hall, 53, of Hammond, La., and formerly of Olmsted, died at home on Sunday, March 8, 2020. 

Marty was born on June 23, 1966, in Taipei, Taiwan. 

He was a generous person who never met a stranger. He worked as a tug boat pilot for many years prior to him becoming disabled due to diabetes. He overcame many health challenges in the last six years while maintaining a wonderful outlook and his dry wit.

He was a dedicated husband, father and pap-paw.  He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kim Eddleman Hall; their two sons, Levi K. Hall and wife Brandy of Olmsted and Dylan S. Hall and his wife Megan of Anna; two granddaughters, Kellee Laminack (Sky Allen) of Dongola and Mallory Hall of Anna; two great-grandsons, Waylon Edwards and Caison Allen; a great-granddaughter, Felicity Allen of Dongola; a brother, Rommie L. Hall and his wife Tammy of Anna; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie L. and Sara J. Hall of Olmsted; and his grandparents, Alma  and Raymond Hall and Clarence and Ruby Bridges.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. Memorial services will follow at noon at the funeral home, with Larry Jordan officiating.
