Marilyn Dorothy Toler

Marilyn Dorothy Toler, 93, of Anna, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at the Voyage in Marion. 

She was born on May 30, 1931, in Chana, the daughter of Frank M. and Alice Canfield Langholf. 

She married Cecil O. Toler on Sept. 25, 1948, in Ogle, Colo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 2017, after 68 years of marriage. 

Mrs. Toler was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was skilled at crafts and threadwork and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was an excellent cook and baked the best pies. 

She is survived by her sister, Karen Groenhagen; brother Glenn (Joyce) Langholf; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Marie, Jean and Evelyn; and two brothers, Bruce and Frances.

Graveside funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek, with the Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Interment immediately followed the service. 

Memorials can be made to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
