Makaylee Lily-Mae Asa

Makaylee Lily-Mae Asa, 21 months old, of Cobden, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

Makaylee was born on July 9, 2015, in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of Patrick Howard Asa II and Cierra Nicole Crowell.

Makaylee was a very happy baby who loved everyone. She woke up every day smiling. She was a miracle and a blessing to her family and the world.

Makaylee is survived by her mother, Cierra Crowell of Cobden; her father, Patrick Asa of Cobden; her grandmother, Amy (Douglas) Anderson of Missouri; maternal great-grandparents Shirley and Jim Fox of Alto Pass; an aunt, Pam (Doug) Dillow of Dongola; cousins Ariel and Cooper Dillow; an uncle, Adam Crowell; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Pa-Pa, Scott Pewo.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola, Illinois.

Funeral services for Makaylee Lily-Mae Asa followed the visitation at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola, Illinois, with Greg Etherton officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the March of Dimes and will be accepted at the church.
