LouElla Pender, 75, of Anna, died at 3:11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on Sept. 28, 1941, in Cobden, the daughter of Edward and Cecile Earnhart Casper.
She married Gilbert Pender on March 21, 1959, in Cobden. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2007.
She was a member of the Jonesboro First Baptist Church. For the past several years, she had been attending the First Baptist Church of Cobden. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She played dominos each Friday with a special group of ladies.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Earl Pender of Anna, Brian Lee (Shelly) Pender and Dale Alan (Sandy) Pender, all of Jonesboro; grandchildren Lisa Marie Pender, Kristan Marie (Aaron) Kitterman, Daniel James (Kelly) Pender, Beth Anne Pender, Krista Lee Pender, Trey Edward Pender and Jaycee Nikole Pender; great-granddaughters Kylee Marie and Annabelle Marie Kitterman; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert L. “Gib” Pender; brothers Charles Casper, Frank Casper and James Casper; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Marie Pender; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pender will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Pastor Ed Falgout officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek.
Friends can call after 9 a.m. and until the service hour at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
