Lonnie Hall

Lonnie Hall, 77, of Murphysboro, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. 

He was born on Jan. 10, 1947, in Springfield, Tenn., the son of Willie Earl and Eleanor Bilyeu Hall. 

He married Victoria Roxanne Schuyler on March 10, 1972. She preceded him in death on Jan. 9, 2001.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Hall of Austin, Texas, Vanessa (Kevin) Holloway of Murphysboro and Lonnie (Jessica) Hall of Carbondale; a brother, Arthur Hall of Rockford; sisters Sheila O’Rourke of Chicago and Audrey Gallegos of Crystal Lake; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his twin sister, Bonnie Remillard.

Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Army. He was very fond of his dogs, but most of all, he loved his family. He will be greatly missed.

Private graveside services for Lonnie Hall will be held at the Cobden Cemetery. A celebration of life is being planned. Further arrangements will be announced soon.
