Lillian Fay Droge

Lillian Fay Droge, 85, of Anna, died at 9:17 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1933, in Carterville, the daughter of Ottia and Dolly Colp Davie. 

She married Clarence Droge. He preceded her in death in 1995. 

She was a graduate of Herrin High School. She worked for the State of Illinois as an inspector for lunch rooms. She enjoyed bowling and quilting. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Chris) Droge of Anna, Rodney (Connie) Droge of Mounds and Dale (Debbie) Droge of Mounds; grandchildren Lori Droge and Jeremy (Brooke) Droge, both of Cape Girardeau, Daniel Droge of Anna, Dahlia Mathis of Mounds and Christopher Droge of Paducah; numerous great-grandchildren; her partner, Jack Tripp of Anna; and a sister, Deloris (Johnny) Brookhouse of Carterville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence; a son, Bobby Droge; a grandson, Robbie Droge; brothers Woodrow Davie, Leslie Davie and Adrian Davie; and sisters Sybil Freeman, Oneida Hogg, Essie Long and Dessie Leech. 

Funeral services for Lillian Fay Droge will be at noon Friday, Dec. 21, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with  the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.  

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to Villa Ridge Union Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
