Larry W. Dodson

Larry W. Dodson, 57, of Anna, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1962, in St. Louis, the son of Arthur John “Johnny” and Shirley Fay Calvert Dodson. 

He married Kathy Chapman. She preceded him in death. 

Mr. Dodson is survived by his two sons, Michael (Krista) Dodson of LaVergne, Tenn., and Jimmie (Ashley) Dodson and Pam of Jonesboro; grandchildren Aly Dodson, Sam Dodson, Dylan Wayne Earl Dodson, Kaitlyn Dodson, Abi Dodson, Brayden Dodson and Cameron Dodson; siblings Sandra Moore of Anna, Sharon Barringer of Anna and Vicki (Ritchy) Tweedy of Wolf Lake; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathy Dodson; and a son, Brandon Wayne Dodson. 

Mr. Dodson was an over the road truck driver for over 25 years. He loved to travel, ride motorcycles and play the guitar. He loved his children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Connect Point Church in Anna.
