KW Carter

KW Carter, 54, of Lick Creek, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on June 15, 1968, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Maxwell Lee and Linda Jane Kohler Carter.

He married Tammy Wheaton-Carter on July 7, 2018.

He worked as a gas/utility foreman for Ameren Corp. He worked in this industry for 36 years. He loved hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy; stepdaughters Bridget Baker and Brandi Duty; grandsons Liam Kinder and Lawson Duty; and other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max Carter, and his mother, Linda Webb.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with Anthony Underwood officiating.  Interment followed in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
