Kenneth H. Honey, 73, of Tamms, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Olive Branch.
He was born on Nov. 9, 1944, in Cairo, the son of Ethel Carner Powless-Newman and Lorn Honey.
He enjoyed fishing, reading and, most of all, working in his garden and yard.
He is survived by a son, Robert (Kim) Honey of Smyrna, Tenn.; a daughter, Christina Honey of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Sharon Robinson Laster (Don) of Jonesboro; nephews Mark Laster (Andi) of Anna and Neil Laster (Renee) of Jonesboro; and a great nephew and nieces, Jackson, Allie and Ainsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his stepfather, Harold “Jim” Powless.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
