Karen Penrod Graham

Karen Penrod Graham, 80, a homemaker, died on Friday, Nov. 8, in Denton, Texas.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Sunset Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Cleveland officiated.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1939, in Cobden, the daughter of Everett and Alice Schumacher Penrod.  

She married Curtis Harold Graham on March 19, 1955, in Hernando, Miss.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alvord.  She was a loving and caring person, mother of five but “Mom” to many.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Curtis; her son, Anthony Graham; and her brother, Ronald Penrod.

Survivors include two sons, Byron Graham and wife Mitzi of Alvord, and Timothy Graham of Weatherford; two daughters, Bridget Wells and husband Chris of Fairview Heights and Gretchen Clive of Fairview Heights; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
