Judy Ann Theis

Judy Ann Theis, 75, of Anna, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at St. Louis University Hospital. 

She was born on April 15, 1944, in Union County, the daughter of Lynn and Mildred Bloodworth Shepard. 

She married Norman Frank Theis on Dec. 27, 1963. He preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2009.

She is survived by her children, Carla (Marshall) Ramage and Frank D. Theis, all of Anna; three grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Elkins, Abigail Barlow and Clayton Ramage; siblings Conrad (Glenda) Shepard of Jonesboro, Nancy Sadler of Trenton, Kathryn (Jerry) Charles of Whitesville, Ky., Grace Emily (Terry) Wiseman of Dongola, Jack (Nina) Shepard of Ullin and Wanda Carolyn (Joe) Ames of Dongola; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Frank Theis; a son-in-law, Greg Barlow; and an infant sister, Patricia Shepard. 

She was a faithful member of the Anna Church of the Nazarene. She worked for Florsheim Shoe Company, IGA in the deli and as a telephone operator for GTE. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and gardening.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, today, at the Anna Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Randy Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Big Creek Cemetery. 

Friends can call after 10 a.m. and until the service hour at 11 a.m. on Thursday, today, at the church.
