Juanita P. Foster

Juanita P. Foster, 91, of Olive Branch, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. 

She was born on Feb. 17, 1931, in Alexander County, the daughter of Howard and Orpha Warren. 

She married Allen Ray Foster on Dec. 23, 1946. He preceded her in death.

She was a long-time member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Browning Quartet, as well as the Trinity Singers. 

Along with her activities at church and singing, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois, Caledonia Chapter No. 587 at Olive Branch.

Survivors include son Randy (Toni) Foster of Olive Branch; daughter Gail (Kenny) Smith of Tamms; grandchildren Raelen (Courtney) Rigdon of Jackson, Mo., and Erin Aguila of Cape Girardeau; great-grandchildren Drew Rigdon, Tristan Aguila and Alex Ray Rigdon; and brother Paul Warren of South Roxana.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Emery; and by brothers, Russell Warren, Harley Warren and Eldon Warren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, today, at the Olive Branch Cemetery, with Mark Thrasher officiating. Friends and family are asked to gather at the cemetery.
