Josephine E. Hartley

Josephine E. Hartley, 100, of Anna, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at Hillview Healthcare in Vienna.

She was born on April  15, 1919, in Hammond, Ind., the daughter of Frank and Sadie Bush Scheidler.

She married Landrith Hartley on Jan. 18, 1941. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1998.

She was of the Catholic faith. She worked as a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Sun City Ceramics Club in Sun City, Ariz. Most of all she enjoyed her time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Bob (Barb) Hartley of Anna; granddaughter, Kendra (Tim) Denny, also of Anna; and great-grandchildren Addison and Payton Denny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons James Robert and Ronald and an infant, and grandson, James Robert Hartley.

Cremation was accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Ariz.
