Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia, 79, of Cobden, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at his home. 

He was born on May 8, 1940, in Mexico, the son of Carmelo and Socorro Gomez Garcia. He married Beatriz Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Beatriz Garcia; children Jose Garcia of Texas, Ray Garcia, Connie Flores, Maria Braden, Idalia Carmona and Raquel Guzman, all of Cobden, and Emmanuel Garcia of Anna; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; two brothers; and six sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

He enjoyed carpentry and he loved being outdoors. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his family.
