John Schultheiss

John Schultheiss, 85, of Anna, died at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at his home.

He was born on April 2, 1934, in Eddyville, Iowa, the son of Gustave and Martha Sawyer Schultheiss. 

He married the love of his life, Barbara Plowman, on Nov. 15, 1953. 

He was a respected tool and die maker in the Kansas City area for his entire life. He enjoyed his pets and spending time with his wife. He was a member of Harvest Church.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Anna; his daughter, Marte (Greg) Roberts of Anna; sons John (Christine) Schultheiss of St. Louis and Russell B. Schultheiss of Kansas City, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Schultheiss was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Memorial services for Mr. Schultheiss will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Harvest Church in Anna, with the Rev. Tony Foeller officiating. 

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Iowa.
