John David Tyson, 54, of Jonesboro, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
He was born on Nov. 3, 1962, in Denison, Texas, the son of Billy W. and Patricia O’Cordon Tyson.
He is survived by his brothers, Billy Tyson of Jonesboro and Charles Tyson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Memorial services for John David Tyson will be held at a later date.
