John Carroll Chaffin Jr.

John Carroll Chaffin Jr., 38, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, March 19, 2020, in Jonesboro. 

He was born on Feb. 23, 1982, in Covina, Calif., the son of John C. Chaffin Sr. and Dianne L. MacLeod Chaffin. 

Mr. Chaffin is survived by his parents, John and Dianne Chaffin of Jonesboro; one son, Parker Allen Chaffin; three sisters, Brandice Downs of Ft. Worth, Texas, Juliane Chaffin of Azle, Texas, and Jeanine Madrid of Saginaw, Texas; other relatives and friends.

He had worked as a restaurant cook. He enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing.

The family of John Carroll Chaffin Jr. will host a private memorial service at a later date.
