Jo Ann Poole

Jo Ann Poole, 74, of Tamms, died at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1946, the daughter of Warren J. and Carmen Lucille Manning Henderson.

She worked for the Florsheim Shoe Company in Anna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Ray Poole, on Jan. 10, 2000; and her sister, Ruth Ann Aden.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven W. and Diana E. Poole of Anna, and Scottie L. and Shawna L. Poole of Tamms; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna R. and Wayne A. Ledbetter, of Tamms; grandchildren Ashley Misner, Tyler Ledbetter, Haylie Poole, Lexie Poole, Mattie Poole, Liam Poole, Breanna Phillips and Brandi Sissom; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at St. John’s Cemetery near Dongola. The Rev. Brent Miller will officiate. Interment will follow.

Those attending are asked to follow social distancing guidelines; face masks or coverings are strongly encouraged.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
