Jimmy Shipley

Jimmy Shipley, 54, of Anna, died at 11:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at his sister’s home.

He was born on May 20, 1966, in Anna, the son of Jim Shipley and Joann Haymaker.

He worked for many years at Havco in Cape Girardeau, where he was a defect sawer. He loved horses and most of all being a grandpa.

Survivors include his sons, Jason (Lisa) Shipley of Dongola and Brad (Heather) Shipley of Anna; grandchildren James Shipley, Makayla Shipley, Riley Hennis, Brian Shipley, Abbigail Shipley, Morgan Shipley, Audriana Shipley and Teagan Shipley; brothers John (Shavonna) Shipley of Jonesboro, Kenny Shipley of Murphysboro, Brian Haymaker of Murphysboro and Bobby Haymaker (Jody) of Eldon, Mo.; sisters Darla (Bruce) Blanchett of Anna, Donna (Caleb) Schrader of Wolf Lake, Sandy (Larry) McWhorter of Anna, Kimberly Brock of Jonesboro, Lisa Hartline of Cobden and Nancy Haymaker of Ohio; special niece Tiffany Watkins, many other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Haymaker, and a sister, Tammie Curtis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Camp Ground Cemetery.
