Janet Sue Easton

Janet Sue Easton, 70, of Alto Pass, died at 11:32 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on July 18, 1946, in Norris City, the daughter of Leslie and Florence Brooks Ricketts.

She married Allan Easton on July 18, 1969, in Fults.

She is survived by her husband, Allan Easton of Alto Pass; four children, Gina Wiles, Tamara Adkins and Jeffrey Easton, all of Alto Pass, and Timothy Easton of Cobden; two sisters, Shelby Dunn of Lone Grove, Okla., and Donna Merlenbach of Ava; two grandchildren, Taylor and Ali Adkins; other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother and sister, Kenneth Bell and Shirley Phelps.

She was a member of the Bald Knob Cross of Peace and attended the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass. She loved camping, horseback riding and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, today, at the Alto Pass First Baptist Church, with pastor Carroll Toler officiating. Friends can call after noon and until the service hour at 1 p.m. on Thursday, today, at the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass.

Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass or to the WMU at the Alto Pass First Baptist Church.
