Jacob Webb

Jacob Webb

Jacob finally earned his wings early Saturday, March 19, 2022, at home with loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

He was born and raised in the Olive Branch area and graduated from Egyptian High School, where he made many friends and memories.

After school Jacob worked in the river industry as a welder and barge loader who always gave 100 percent at his job.

In his free time, he loved riding motorcycles or anything else that goes fast. Jacob was also a very talented artist, but his number one focus was his family: Kayla, Tyson, Eleison and Zella.

Jacob is reunited in heaven with his brother Jeremiah, his uncle Steve and his grandpa Jack Butcher.

He has left behind many friends and family to join him in heaven later, including his parents, Jay and Shelby Dunn of Olive Branch; his father, James Webb Jr. of Marion; sister Selena Webb (Cody Crisler) of Wickliffe, Ky.; brothers Cody (Alicia) Webb of Jonesboro and Jesse Webb of Olive Branch; fiancée Kayla Hand of Jonesboro; children Tyson, Eleison and Zella; and grandparents James (Judy) Webb of Marion and Bobby (Sharon) Smith of Olive Branch. He also left behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, too many to list.

Anyone who knows Jacob will always remember his positive attitude, contagious laugh and mischievous smile.

And in true form, it was his wish not to have a traditional funeral service. So, a celebration of life will be held at the Pulaski-Alexander County Sportsman’s Club in Miller City on Sunday, March 27, at 1 p.m. The celebration is open to all friends, and will be followed by a private burial service in Olive Branch Cemetery at a later date.
